  We wake up this morning to the sad news of the passing away of a noble and prolific author, play-write, poet, academic and feminist AMA ATA AIDOO. Born on march 23, 1942 (81 yrs.) in Cape-Coast (Saltpond- Ghana). She attended to Wesley Girls High School and later to the University of Ghana. She was a dedicated writer whose notable works covers subjects not limited to comparative literature and post- colonial literature among others. Her writings includes drama and plays, literature and fiction books some of which are titled; THE DILEMMA OF A GHOST (1965), CHANGES: A LOVE STORY (1991), OUR SISTER KILLJOY (1997),  GHANA WHERE THE BEAD SPEAKS (2008), DIPLOMATIC POUNDS (2012) just to mention few.   The mobile money space in Ghana has seen a constant growth since it’s introduction almost a decade ago. In 2018, the GoG, BoG, GHIPPS and commercial banks lunched the mobile money interoperability system. This service allows for direct and effortless transfer of funds from one mobile money wallet to another mobile money wallet across networks.   Manchester city has been crowned champions of the English premier league for the 2022/2023 season. This comes after arsenal suffered a 1 – 0 defeat at home to Nottingham forest. Arsenal dominated the top of the premier league table at the beginning of the season but failed to hold on to it as the season came to a close. Their close contender, Manchester city however, did not have a good start at the beginning of the season but kept their composure and consistency of winning their games one at a time. Manchester city’s boss, Pep Guardiola, has won five premier league trophies since joining the club in 2016. He only failed to win the league with Manchester city in the 2016/2017 and 2019/2020 season.   Tupac Shakur has been one of the most iconic rappers of  the century. Born on june 16th,1971, in East Harlem, New York. He did not allow the circumstances he found himself in dumpen his future and love for music. But rather, he took inspirations from his environment and gave us back to back hits, some of which include, all eyes on me, the way it is, me against the world among others. To honor him posthumously once more, a street on which he once lived has been named after him in california oakland, called the TUPAC SHAKUR WAY. However, the street will maintain its original name. Hardwork pays and good works never go unrewarded. Take joy in whatever you do and you will be rewarded for your efforts one day.
